No Exposure Certification (NEC) inspection by Lucas Lima who made some observations of concern. Housekeeping BMPs (Best Management Practices) outside of the building are deficient. The BMP deficiencies are: metal shards on the ground outside as well as a pile of dirt that does not have any containment, and both are exposed to storm water. SEL email was sent to discharger by W. Ghoram on 10/22/2015 advising that discharges of storm water commingling with/containing pollutants/wastes (ie: metal shards, soil, etc..) to surface waters, directly or via storm drains, are violations and that based on the inspection observations the facility does not meet NEC criteria. Requested that the discharger take corrective actions on the BMP deficiencies and email photos of the corrections no later than October 30, 2015. |

All industrial processes are indoors except for a crushing machine that has paper debris on the ground around it. This is exposure of pollutants/waste. Follow up and additional information is required from the discharger to address eliminating the crushing machine waste. See Photo in Attachments. |
